About social media settings

Social media settings let you share your social profiles so customers can follow or contact you. You can add your Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, and Facebook accounts, then choose which ones appear in your app. This is available on all plans.

Before you begin

• Open Operations → Social Media (https://app.gegsy.com/operations/social-media).
• Access is gated by the Social Media permission. Account owners have it by default and can grant it to employees.
• Have the username (handle) ready for each platform you want to add, for example instagram.com/yourbusiness → the handle is yourbusiness.

Add a social platform

Each platform has the same controls. Repeat these steps for every account you want to connect.

1. Open Operations → Social Media.
2. Find the platform you want — Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, or Facebook.
3. Turn on Display in app? to show that platform to customers.
4. In the @ field, enter your username (handle) only — leave off the leading @ and the full URL. The field shows a username placeholder as a guide.
5. Repeat for any other platforms.
6. Click Save changes.

If you turn on Display in app? for a platform but leave its username blank, you'll see the error {platform} username is required. when you save. Add the username or turn the toggle off, then save again.

Add a TikTok or Facebook profile number

TikTok and Facebook have an extra field for a profile number in addition to the username.

1. Under TikTok or Facebook, enter the value in the Profile Number (1234567890...) field.
2. If you're not sure where to find it, click Get Help next to the field. This opens the platform's guide for locating your profile (user) ID in a new tab.
3. Click Save changes.
