How much is your restaurant losing to third-party commissions?
Plug in your numbers and see exactly what you'd save by switching your online orders to Gegsy — with your own branded app and web storefront, powered by Square.
How the math works
DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub charge 15–30% of every order in commission. On a $25 order at 25%, that’s $6.25 going to the platform — not your restaurant.
Gegsy’s model
Gegsy charges a flat monthly subscription ($19–$99) plus a small per-order fee. A $25 order on Gegsy Pro costs you $0.20 for pickup — not $6.25.
The difference compounds
A restaurant doing 400 orders/month can save $1,500–$2,500/month by switching to direct ordering. That’s $18,000–$30,000/year back in your pocket.

Common Questions
Does the calculator include delivery driver costs?
The calculator compares platform fees only — commissions for third-party apps vs. Gegsy’s flat per-order fees. Delivery driver costs through Nash or DoorDash Drive are separate and apply regardless of which platform you use. The key difference is that Gegsy doesn’t add a commission on top of driver costs.
What if I only do pickup orders?
The savings are even larger. Set “Delivery order %” to 0 in the calculator. With no delivery orders, your only Gegsy costs are the monthly subscription and a small flat pickup fee per order — far less than any commission percentage.
Can I use Gegsy and still be on DoorDash, UberEats, and GrubHub?
Absolutely. Many restaurants keep their DoorDash, UberEats, and GrubHub marketplace listing for discovery while steering existing customers to their Gegsy app and storefront for direct orders. Over time, as your direct ordering grows, your reliance on high-commission platforms decreases.
Are these savings realistic?
Yes. The calculator uses the actual Gegsy fee structure and your inputs. The biggest variable is your current commission rate — if you’re paying 25–30% on DoorDash or Uber Eats, the savings are dramatic. Even at 15%, most restaurants save thousands per year.
What's not included in the calculator?
The calculator doesn’t account for store card load fees, catering fees, or payment processing fees (which apply regardless of platform). It focuses on the biggest cost difference: platform commission vs. Gegsy’s flat fees.
How does multi-location pricing work?
With Gegsy, your first location pays the base plan price. Each additional location pays a reduced rate — for example, Starter is $49 for the first location and $39 for each additional. The calculator accounts for this automatically when you enter more than one location.
