Set up pickup

Who is this article for?

• Gegsy merchants who want customers to order ahead and pick up their order in person.

About pickup

Pickup lets customers choose Pickup at checkout, place their order, and collect it at your location. From this screen you turn pickup on or off and, optionally, set a minimum order amount before a customer can check out for pickup.

Before you begin

• Available on all plans. See gegsy.com/pricing for plan details.
• Access to this page is controlled by the Pickup permission. The account owner has it by default and can grant it to employees.

Open the Pickup settings

Open Operations → Pickup (https://app.gegsy.com/operations/pickup).

The page is a single Pickup settings card with the subtitle Set your pickup preferences. Make your changes, then click Save changes at the bottom.

Enable pickup

Turn on Enable pickup in app to let customers choose Pickup at checkout. Leave it off if you don't want to offer pickup. Delivery and other fulfillment options are unaffected by this toggle.

The minimum order field below only appears when pickup is enabled.

Set a minimum order amount

With pickup enabled, you can set a Minimum order amount for pickup (optional). Enter a dollar amount in the field (the currency symbol shown matches your business currency). Customers must reach this subtotal before they can check out for pickup.

Leave it blank or set it to 0.00 to allow pickup orders of any size. The field defaults to a 0.00 placeholder.

Save your changes

Click Save changes to apply your settings. Your pickup preferences take effect in the customer app once saved.
