Add location details
Share a location's guest Wi-Fi and bathroom code with customers from the Other Details tab of the per-location editor in Gegsy.

About the Other Details tab
The Other Details tab is where you store the extra, location-specific information customers often ask for in person — your guest Wi-Fi and your bathroom code. Each is optional and has its own switch, so you stay in control of what's shared. When you turn a section on, the details you enter appear to customers for that location in your app and storefront; when it's off, nothing is shown.
You set these per location, so a customer always sees the right Wi-Fi and code for the store they're visiting.
Before you begin
- The Other Details tab is available on all plans.
- Access is controlled by the Locations permission. Account owners have it by default and can grant it to employees from Account → Team.
Open the Other Details tab
- Go to Locations in the dashboard, or visit https://app.gegsy.com/locations.
- Find the location you want to update and select Edit (the pencil icon) in its Action column.
- In the location's settings, open the Other Details tab.
Save your changes
Select Save changes at the bottom of the editor to publish what you've entered. If anything still needs attention — a missing required field, or notes over the 160-character limit — the field is highlighted with a short message telling you what to fix, and the editor lets you know there's something to correct in the Other Details section.
To update the same Wi-Fi details and bathroom code across several locations at once, use the Other details bulk action on the Locations page, described in Manage your locations.
