Nationwide shipping, Live Orders, delivery zones, and more

Ship orders to customers anywhere, run a live order board in the kitchen, and draw exactly where each location delivers.

Ship orders nationwide

OrdersOnline orderingPaymentsPro plan

What changed: Shipping is now a third way to order, next to pickup and delivery. Mark which items can ship, set package sizes and your ship-from location, and offer flat, free, or tiered rates or live carrier rates by region. Customers choose Shipping on your online order page, see their rate before they pay, and can follow their package with tracking. Sales tax is calculated for the destination, and you buy labels in Square.

Why it matters: Your best sellers can reach customers far beyond your delivery radius, turning sauces, coffee, and baked goods into a new revenue stream.

Access: Available on the Pro plan. In your Gegsy dashboard, go to Menu → Shipping, set up your rates and shippable items, and turn on Accept shipped orders. Customers see Shipping on your website.

Live Orders: a real-time order board

OrdersDelivery

What changed: Live Orders is a full-screen board of every active order, updated the moment orders come in or change. Select an order to see its items, status timeline, and, for delivery, where the courier is on a map. It plays a sound for new orders, keeps the screen awake, and has a Display Mode for a dedicated kitchen or counter screen.

Why it matters: Staff can see what's coming, what's ready, and where every driver is from one screen, without refreshing a list or opening orders one by one.

Access: In your Gegsy dashboard, go to Live Orders.

Draw your delivery zones

DeliveryOnline orderingMobile app

What changed: Each location can now have its own delivery zone, drawn on a map as a radius or a custom shape, with separate areas for regular, catering, and group orders if you want them. Copy a zone to other locations in one step. Customers outside the zone aren't offered delivery from that location.

Why it matters: You deliver exactly where it makes sense for each kitchen, instead of one distance limit for every location, and customers find out before checkout rather than after.

Access: In your Gegsy dashboard, go to Locations, open a location, and select Delivery zone. Zones apply on your website and in your app (version 2.2.0 or later).

A redesigned order details page

Orders

What changed: Order details now use a clean card layout that leads with the Square order number, a status timeline, the customer, fulfillment details, and items and charges, each in its own card.

Why it matters: The answer to "where's my order?" is at the top of the page, so phone calls get shorter.

Access: In your Gegsy dashboard, go to Orders → All Orders and select an order.

Add pickup instructions for each location

OrdersDeliveryOnline orderingMobile app

What changed: Add a short note for anyone picking up from a location, like "use the side door" or "orders are on the shelf by the register." It's included in the customer's order confirmation, shown in their order details, and passed along to the courier on delivery orders.

Why it matters: Customers and drivers find their orders without calling the store.

Access: In your Gegsy dashboard, go to Locations, open a location, and fill in Pickup instructions in the Pickup section. Customers see it on your website and in your app (version 2.2.0 or later).
