About onboarding

Getting started with Gegsy takes just a few minutes. You'll create your account, verify your email, and then move through a short guided setup that connects your Square account and gets your plan in place. Once you're done, your branded ordering is ready to configure from your dashboard.

Before you begin

  • You need an active Square account. Gegsy connects to Square to import your items, categories, and other settings.
  • Gegsy currently supports businesses based in the United States.
  • Have a payment method ready, since you'll start a subscription during setup.
  • You'll need access to your email to verify your account.

Create your account

  1. Go to the Gegsy registration page at app.gegsy.com/register. You can also select Sign Up from the website or Signup now from the login screen.
  2. Enter your First Name, Last Name, Email, and Phone Number.
  3. Choose your Business Country. (Gegsy currently supports US-based businesses only.)
  4. (Optional) Enter a Referral code if you have one.
  5. Create a Password.
  6. Review the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, then select Register.

Verify your email

  1. Gegsy sends a verification email to the address you registered with. Open it and select the verification link.
  2. Back on the Verify your email screen, select Manually Check Verification to continue. If the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, select Resend Verification Email or check your spam folder.

Complete your merchant onboarding

After verifying, you'll enter the guided Merchant Onboarding, shown as a 4-step progress bar at the top.

  1. Personal Information — Confirm your name, phone number, and email (pre-filled from registration), then select Next.
  2. Connect with Square — Select Connect to Square, then sign in to Square and authorize Gegsy. Gegsy imports your items, categories, and other settings from Square. When you're returned to onboarding, select Next.
  3. Select your plan — Choose the location(s) you want to enroll (or use Select All), then pick a plan with Select Starter Plan or Select Pro Plan. Each plan card shows what's included and the per-order fees. You'll then be taken to Stripe's secure checkout to enter your billing details and start your subscription.   4. Confirmation — Once payment is complete, you'll see Onboarding Complete. Select Go to Dashboard to start setting up your branded ordering.
