• Gegsy merchants who want to control how their menu categories appear and are ordered in their storefront and app.

About the Categories page

Like items, your categories sync from Square — you create and rename categories in Square. On the Gegsy Categories page, you control each category's visibility and the order categories appear to customers.

Sync categories from Square

Select Sync with Square to pull in your latest categories and changes from Square. Run this whenever you add or rename categories in Square.

Reorder categories

Drag a row by its handle to change the order of your categories. The order you set here is the order customers see in your storefront and app.

Show or hide a category

Each category has a Visibility toggle. Turn it off to hide the entire category — and its items — from customers, or on to show it. The No. of Items column shows how many items each category contains.

Edit multiple categories at once

Select Bulk Edit to update several categories together. Use Collapse All to tidy the list when you're managing a long menu.
