Manage your menu items

About the Items page

Your menu items sync from Square, so you create and edit the item details themselves — name, price, description, and modifiers — in Square. On the Gegsy Items page, you control how those items appear in your storefront and app: their visibility, promotion, upsell behavior, location availability, and display order.

Sync items from Square

Select Sync with Square to pull in your latest items, categories, and changes from Square. Run this whenever you add or edit items in Square so your Gegsy menu stays up to date.

Find and filter items

Use the filters at the top to narrow the list: Item Name (search), Visibility, Promote, Upsell, and Locations. Select Reset to clear them.

Items are grouped by category (for example, "Signature Burgers"). Use Collapse All / Expand All, or the collapse toggle on each category, to manage longer menus.

Set visibility, promotion, and upsell

Each item row has three toggles:

• Visibility — whether the item is shown to customers in your storefront and app.
• Promote — highlights the item to feature it to customers.
• Upsell — offers the item as an upsell suggestion.

Each row also shows the item's Image and Price, and the Locations where it's available.

Reorder items

Within a category, drag a row by its handle to move it. The order you set here is the order customers see in your storefront and app.

Edit multiple items at once

Select Bulk Edit to update several items together instead of one at a time.
