About Blocked Numbers

Blocked Numbers is part of Gegsy's Fraud Tools. It lists every phone number you've blocked from placing orders, and lets you add or remove blocks. The page description reads: Manage phone numbers that are blocked from placing orders.

Once a number is on the list, the customer using it can't place new orders until you remove the block.

Before you begin

  • Blocked Numbers is available on all plans.
  • Access is controlled by the Blocked Numbers permission. Account owners have it by default and can grant it to employees.

Open Blocked Numbers

Go to Fraud Tools → Blocked Numbers in the dashboard, or open https://app.gegsy.com/fraud-tools/blocked-numbers directly.

The page shows your blocked numbers in a table with these columns:

  • Phone Number — the blocked number, shown in international format (for example, +1 718 555 1212).
  • Reason — the note you saved when blocking, or No reason provided if you left it blank.
  • Blocked Date — when the number was added.
  • Action — the Remove button for each row.

If you haven't blocked anything yet, you'll see No blocked numbers with the message You haven't blocked any phone numbers yet. and a Block Your First Number button. Lists longer than 25 entries are paginated.

  4. (Optional) Add a Reason (Optional). The placeholder suggests e.g., Fraudulent activity, repeated chargebacks, etc., and the helper text notes Provide a reason for blocking this number for your records.
  5. Click Block Number to save, or Cancel to close without blocking.

The number is stored in a standard international format, so it matches regardless of how the customer types it at checkout.

  3. Click Remove Block to confirm, or Cancel to keep the block in place.

After you confirm, you'll see a Phone number unblocked successfully message and the number drops off the list.
