About blocked numbers

Blocked Numbers lets you stop specific phone numbers from placing orders on your storefront and app. It's one of Gegsy's risk tools, useful for cutting off repeat fraud, abuse, or problem orders.

Block a phone number

1. Go to Customers → Blocked Numbers.
2. Select + Block Number. If your list is empty, select Block Your First Number.
3. In the Block Phone Number dialog, set:
4. • Country (required) — the country for the phone number; this sets the dialing code.
   • Phone Number (required) — the number to block. It's formatted automatically based on the country you select.
   • Reason (optional) — a note for your own records (for example, fraudulent activity or repeated chargebacks).
4. Select Block Number.

Once blocked, that number can no longer place orders, and it appears in your Blocked Numbers list.
